Morning Motivator: Courage

Today, Veteran's Day in the US, is a day where we should all stop for just a moment, and offer a prayer of thanks and safekeeping to whatever Gods you pray to, to the men and women who try their damnest to keep peace.

Mr. Hath and Hathlet are spending this Veteran's Day in Boston at the Charlestown Navy Yard on the USS Constitution. Over the course of the day, they will be thanking the active-duty Navy Sailors who are charged with running the tours.

If you have the opportunity to see one of our servicemen/women out and about today, please take a moment to say "thank you". If you are uncomfortable making personal contact, you can sign your thanks. The sign for "thank you" is made by starting with the fingers of your dominant hand near your lips. Your hand should be a "flat hand." Move your hand forward and a bit down in the direction of the person you are thanking, and smile.

To my friends, family, and co-workers who are active or retired military, thank you for all you have done, and all you continue to do to protect my family.  God bless you all.

~ Hath

Thank you for this.

Here in the UK it's known as Armistice Day - the day when the guns fell silent in the Great War of 1914-1918. Today at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month people wear poppies and observe a two minute silence, remembering all war victims.

"When you go home, tell them of us and say...for your tomorrow, we gave our today."

That was a lovely sentiment to put up today.... THANK YOU for doing that! My son is training in the Air Force to become a pilot... We are so proud of him and all the hard work he is doing! Just goes to show, that the legacy and lessons learned from the veterans that have gone on before him were not forgotten or taken for granted... so many young men and women out there today serving our country.... God Bless them all!!!!
