CeDAR Event in January
Rock band Bon Jovi will perform at a benefit dinner for the Center for Dependency, Addiction and Rehabilitation (CeDAR) at Aurora's Anschutz Medical Campus.
The addiction-treatment center, located at University of Colorado Hospital, is celebrating its fifth anniversary this month.
The New Jersey band, led by singer Jon Bon Jovi and known for such hits as "Livin' On a Prayer" and "It's My Life," will play Jan. 21 at the Korbel Ballroom at Denver Colorado Convention Center.
The event will accommodate 11,000. Bon Jovi typically plays at basketball and hockey arenas holding twice as many.
Tables will be sold to the event at five sponsorship levels, ranging from "I'll Be There For You" ($2,500) to "Blaze of Glory" ($50,000), with top-level sponsorships offering such extras as passes to a pre-concert reception and tickets to a show on the Bon Jovi 2011 tour.
The benefit is being produced by concert promoter AEG Live Rocky Mountains, the regional unit of Denver entrepreneur Philip Anschutz's entertainment business. The billionaire has donated millions to help build the medical complex that bears his name.

Never heard of Bob Jovi. Who is he?
I'm going! They NEVER come to Colorado for stuff like this. Bought a table last night, the $2500 table. Thank goodness we acted quickly, now all the tables at that price are sold.
Hath, there was a typo in the original announcemnt. It's for 1100 people, not 11,000. There is no way one of the ballrooms at the Convention Center could hold 11,000people.
Now let's hope we don't have a blizzard in January.
