Okay Campers...
...rise and shine, and don't forget your booties 'cause it's cooooold out there today. That's right, Campers, it's GROUNDHOG DAY!
For those of you who don't know, this is a reference to a movie called Groundhog day about a weatherman (played by the hilarious Bill Murray) who is doomed to relive the same day over and over again.
Which got me to thinking.
If you had one day you had to live over and over, what would it be and why?
I don't have an answer myself, I have to think about it. I'm not sure I've ever had a "perfect day". Some will jump in and say "what about your wedding day?" It was really nice, but cold and snowy, and we our share of wedding woes that kept it from being perfect. I definitely don't want to go through that over and over.
Others will say "what about the day Hathlet was born?" Absolutely one of the top days ever, but c'mon -- all that labor? Needles? Pain? A one-and-done thing thank you very much, though the END of the day, holding the little warm bundle of love, is probably my most cherished memory.
No, I can't quite decide what I'd pick as the day to live over and over and over again. And again.
Can you?
Care to share?

The morning in Monterey, CA standing on the edge of a cliff and kissing the guy I had a crush on during my three week vacation, knowing it was our last day together. It was a magical moment. Felt like time was standing still! *sigh* Miss him and his mouth and his...uhm ..other parts! LOL
Interesting question but I'm afraid if I were to pick a dream day, it would only turn into a nightmare. Variety being the spice of life and all.
If I *had* to relive a day for an amount of time, though, the day I'd choose would inevitably have something to do with music in a large way.
On Feb. 11, 2010, my best friend and I went to the Bon Jovi concert in Honolulu. We had 6th row tix which were awesome. But the day I want to re-live is the following day. I went through the day in a trance, thinking about the night before and looking forward to another concert that night. I know I had a silly grin on my face all day. Our seats that night were for the uppper level and that just was not going to cut it. So we snuck our way past all the security on to the floor and roamed all around it. By the encore, we made it to the 2nd row - we were actually escorted there by security! We were close enough to see the blue in Jon's eyes and could practically feel the sweat flying off him. We even got a huge smile from Bobby, as if he knew what we were up to. I know it was "illegal", but it was Bon Jovi! We still think of our "one wild night" with fondest of memories.
