Grant Wilfley Casting is holding an open call for background work for the following:
* for the feature film NEW YEAR’S EVE, directed by Garry Marshall, seeking New Yorkers of all types (from working class to wealthy) for various scenes.
An open casting call will be held on Monday, Feb. 7 from 10a-12:30p for SAG and 2-4:30p for NONSAG at Metropolitan Pavilion, 110 West 19 St, NY, NY 10011. No experience necessary. Be prepared to have a digital photo taken. All work as background is paid. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. Crap! I used to work right there, 1 block up! I used to walk from work right past the location, at the base of the bridge, to actually walk home across the bridge. Man, why couldn't stuff like this have happened when I still lived in NYC?
