Special Memphis Performance
Thanks to Rike, Catte, and Wills for the information.
NEW YORK, NY - FEBRUARY 03: Musician David Bryan attends a special performance of 'Memphis' on Broadway for Inspire Change at Shubert Theatre on February 3, 2011 in New York City.
Apparently, Broadway Cares spent a month going to all the schools and teaching the kids the choreography for the finale so they could all stand up and do a surprise "flash mob" for the cast (it was all done in secret, even Joe & David didn't know).
It was supposedly completely amazing and made the cast cry. It's all on video and we should see it sometime soon, so keep an eye out!

About Memphis
MEMPHIS, the winner of four 2010 Tony Awards including Best Musical, takes place in the smoky halls and underground clubs of the segregated 50’s, where a young white DJ named Huey Calhoun (Chad Kimball) fell in love with everything he shouldn’t: rock and roll and an electrifying black singer (Montego Glover).
MEMPHIS is an original story about the cultural revolution that erupted when his vision met her voice, and the music changed forever. The show features a brand new Tony winning score with music by Bon Jovi’s founding member and keyboardist David Bryan and lyrics by Bryan and Joe DiPietro, who also pens the musical’s Tony winning book. MEMPHIS is based on a concept by the late George W. George, with direction by Tony nominee Christopher Ashley and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.
