David Bryan: Character Approved

Robert Diamond is the founder and editor-in-chief of, the largest theatre site on the net. He put together ten things he considers to be Character Approved from this year. Coming in at number 5? Our own David Bryan!

Green Day isn't the only rock act on Broadway this season. Bryan, Bon Jovi's keyboard player, brought his lifetime of experience touring the country and the world (and taking in lots of local music as well) by writing the music and lyrics by the 2010 Tony winning best musical Memphis. Along with lyricist Joe DiPietro, Bryan put his heart and soul into the show, and even missed touring appearances with Bon Jovi for the first time ever to work on it.

Thanks, Wills, for dropping this in my inbox :)

I am in no way affiliated with the band or any of its members. I'm simply a fan looking for a way to celebrate my favorite band.
