The 80's WERE Awesome...
In honor of JBJ's 51st birthday this past Saturday, VH-1 has done a lovely little pictoral celebration of the REALLY good years....
The pictures are pretty, but some of the captions are priceless:

Post-1984, he would go on to get much better at photo shoots.
Little known fact: Jon Bon Jovi was named New Jersey's Sexiest Lifeguard of 1986.
There was a hair spray shortage in Los Angeles this night in 1988.
We're not sure who this lady is, and judging by the look on his face, we're pretty certain JBJ won't remember her name, either.
Before Bon Jovi hit it big with Slippery When Wet, they couldn't afford whole shirts. This one is circa '84.
Even though Bon Jovi had made millions of dollars by 1989, they still could not afford whole shirts.
