Memphis Lives in Me

From Broadway.com

Just before his first performance as Huey Calhoun in Memphis, Adam Pascal joined the show's Tony-winning composer David Bryan for a very personal performance of "Memphis Lives in Me." As Bryan recently told Broadway.com, he and Pascal share a rock sensibility, and the two are obviously feeling simpatico about Pascal's Broadway return in Bryan's long-running hit.

A lovely performance, but for me, Chad will always be Huey.

Thanks, Catte, for the link!

Sorry, But David sings it way better. I like Adam because of the Musical "Rent" in it's movie version, but David sings it much, much better! Sorry Adam, you just don't do the song justice!

I agree, David puts so much more soul into this song!

Agreed, David sings it much better. Hej actually sings it better than Chad too... but I still agree, Hath, that Chad will forever be Huey in my heart. That doesn't mean I don't want to see a performance with Adam, just to see how he made the role his own.
