Bon Jovi fans 'live on a prayer'~ Hath
After performing the hit song “You Give Love A Bad Name,” Jon Bon Jovi led the audience in the traditional Penn State cheers of “When I say blue, you say white” and “When I say JoePa you say Terno.”
“I love that Penn State stuff,” Jon Bon Jovi said, receiving a rousing reply from the crowd.
Bon Jovi performed to a packed Bryce Jordan Center on Wednesday night as the first stop of its Live 2011 tour.
The band brought an upbeat atmosphere to the room when it played “We Weren’t Born To Follow.” During the song, the video screens featured images of the Wright Brothers, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Presley and Princess Diana in the red, white and blue tritone of Barack Obama’s iconic “Hope” campaign poster. The phrase “Your time is now” flashed on the screen as the final chords were strummed.
