Post Grammy Remarks
Richie Sambora was speaking after the Grammy Award show about the tour, the Grammy performance and confirms that the band's Greatest Hits Vol.2 record is slated for release in Christmas 2010.
The guitarist says, "we are prepared for the tour" and commented on the a medley they played during this year's broadcast. "Jon and I [also] wanted to sing Who Says You Can't go Home, because when we got the Grammy for it, we wanted to sing this song and [the producers] did not let us."
On the fans' vote for Prayer, he said: "It was exciting because until the last minute we didn't know what song we had to play."
Regarding the tour, he said they have prepared two types of stage sets, different for stadiums and enclosures. "The stage will have 10 LED screens, 5 of which will move with articulated arms with high definition displays. The scene is like a half circle and the other half will be a VIP section ... We have some robots that actually move the television screens around the stage. It will be spectacular. "
Finally he said that "The Greatest Hits, we'll leave for Christmas 2010."
Huh. I'm still waiting for my MSG DVD. I'll believe Christmas 2010 when I see it.
