Adding Two Shows to Meadowlands
Bon Jovi is getting ready to announce two more Jersey tour dates, adding two gigs to the back end of the group's stadium-christening three-show run at New Meadowlands Stadium this spring.
"We've sold out the three nights at [New Meadowlands Stadium] and I think we're putting up four and five next week," Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora said on a conference call with reporters Tuesday afternoon. "I think Kid Rock is going to be accompanying us for Nights 4 and 5 at [New Meadowlands] Stadium, which should be a great show for people."
The band is scheduled to be the first musical act to play the new stadium, with shows slated for May 26, 27 and 29.
Love Kid Rock! But alas, my Jovi budget for 2010 (as well as the limits of my husband's patience) have already been stretched.
No word yet on when tickets go on sale, but keep checking with bonjovi.com.
