It was a fun evening. Met lots of other fan club members at my table and another. Very nice sit-down dinner with filet of beef, mini crab cake, pancetta wrapped prawn, asparagus, carrots, spaghetti squash and for dessert carrot cake and apple tart.
Our table was in the back of the ballroom, couldn't see anything as we were behind the VIP tables that were up on risers. We didn't plan on staying back there for the concert so it wasn't a big deal.
Speakers included Chuck Morris (president AEG Live), Governor Hickenlooper and special guest Sinbad. We were all shocked by him being there.
After dinner, we went to the stage and ended up front row! We wore shirts that said "Have a nice day Rock and Roll HOF" with the red smirk sticking his tongue out.
The band was introduced by former Denver Bronco #7 John Elway. Short set, 55 minutes, 12 songs. Jon looked like a caged animal on such a small stage. I was hoping for at least 90 minutes, but I was just glad I was able to go. Denver is not on the current tour schedule and don't think it will be added next week either.
So glad I went. Long day but worth it!
