Musicians on a Mission Award

Jon Bon Jovi, along with ten other Jersey Shore musicians, has been nominated for the prestigious Jersey Acoustic Music "Musicians on a Mission" Award for his efforts to help with Hurricane Sandy relief.  The Fourth Annual Jersey Acoustic Music Awards will be held April 7, 2013, at the Jersey Shore Arts Center in Ocean Grove, NJ.  Online voting to determine award winners will be open until March 1, 2013.

Other award nominees include musicians who raised money and secured donation to replace band instruments for local schools, to provide emergency shelter, food, and clothing for storm victims, and who helped raise money for the Red Cross and other local relief funds.  Volunteers at Jon Bon Jovi's Soul Kitchen in Red Bank, including Jon and his family, worked round-the-clock to provide meals to community members in the aftermath of Sandy.

IMO these musicians ALL deserve awards.  Online voting is open HERE.
