Bon Jovi on American Idol

Bon Jovi's first AI Appearance

Bon Jovi will take some time out from their in-progress world tour to stop by the new season of American Idol.  The band will appear on the show performing their new single "Because We Can" on Thursday, March 14 at 8 p.m.  Bon Jovi's new album, What About Now, is in stores March 12. 
Jon and the guys actually have a show March 14 in Louisville, Kentucky, so the performance will obviously have to be pre-taped, as most American Idol musical guest performances are.
