In addition to his guitar-shredding skills, Bon Jovi‘s Richie Sambora clearly has many other qualities — and one of them, apparently, is honesty. When VH1 News caught up with him on the red carpet of Alicia Keys’ Keep a Child Alive Black Ball last week, he gave a little update about his recent reunion with Denise Richards.

“Things are good and I’m happy,” he said. “We always dug each other. She’s a great gal, and sweet, and we have a lot in common. We went through a lot together. … Easy on the eyes!”

But then reporter Janell Snowden may have slightly led Richie into a trap a minute later in the conversation, when she had him talking about the posters he had on his wall when he was a teenager.

“I had Raquel Welch, that big poster from One Million Years B.C., and I had Charlie’s Angels‘ Farrah [Fawcett]. Hair and boobs, man. What are you going to do? Guys love that.”

But Denise, honey, he loves you because you’re sweet too!
