Did you ever think...
... you'd agree with Doc McGhee? From Ultimate Classic Rock:
Passengers on board the recent Kiss Kruise had a chance to lob a few questions at the legendary band’s manager last month, and inevitably their exclusion from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame came up. Doc McGhee didn’t dance around the subject. If the band is nominated for 2013 it won’t be because he’s saying all the right things.
"You have to remember that the Hall of Fame is made up of a boy’s club in New York,” McGhee says in the video [below]. “And they would rather take an Ethiopian sax player that played on some obscure f—in’ record then to put Kiss, or Bon Jovi, Rush, Def Leppard, any of those bands..."
Bon Jovi was nominated last year, and McGhee said he told their lead singer that he’d be watching McGhee get enshrined before he did. "It’s not really the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame when you have Donna Summer, and you have Blondie mixed in."
