MSG: Garden Transformation

MSG Network announced today that it will telecast a new five-part series called "The Garden Transformed: Year One" that will take sports and entertainment fans behind-the-scenes of the first phase of the three phase transformation of Madison Square Garden, which includes three consecutive offseason shutdowns. The series, which will continue after phase two and phase three of the project over the next two years, will debut this winter.

The series will not only focus on the construction taking place, but the personalities behind the intense work schedule and their dedication to the beloved building. In addition, the show includes all-new interviews with a number of celebrities who recently saw the results of phase one of the transformation, including comedian Chris Rock and Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, who share their personal experiences at The World's Most Famous Arena.

"I went from watching the Purple Rain Tour in the last row to actually being on stage. How much better does life get?" says Rock.

"After playing all over the world and touring for the last 29 years, there's only one Madison Square Garden," says Sambora. "The New York audience is the best, but they're tough because they've seen everyone here, so you've got to be on your game."

Hopefully someone who GETS the MSG Network will record and share this series. Time will tell...
