Edit Aug 24: I *did* listen to the track before I posted about it, and of COURSE it's not the stringed instrument, but the harmonica. I was just trying to have a little fun, playing off the slang 'harp' (short for mouth-harp). Sheesh, this isn't a news website, it's just a blog ;) And I'm no journalist, I'm just a crazy fan :)

Now I remember Obie saying something about Jon playing the harp in one of the "vault" tracks that would make an appearance. Sooo I wonder if this is what he was talking about?

Ok I am wondering about this - I have a few friends who play the harmonica but they refer to it as playing Harp or blowing Harp. Listening to the song I think that's what it is. Seems more likely Jon is playing harmonica than him sitting on a stool behind that ethereal instrument. ;-)
I'm picturing Jon playing an actual harp and chuckling to myself. Of course, as you point out, Hath, angels play harps....angels often appear cinematicly as part of dream sequences...Jon HAS starred in some of my dreams....so yes, it's possible. ;)
I do believe they are talking harp - as in harmonica.
