Singing Lessons?

Take an innocuous dinner... (lol)

Tom Cruise, set to play Stacee Jaxx in the film adaptation "Rock of Ages," was seen dining with his good friend Jon Bon Jovi in New York Tuesday night, possibly getting some singing tips from the rocker.

The "Mission: Impossible" actor did sign up for vocal lessons from the guy who trained former Guns n' Roses frontman Axl Rose. "He's been studying with -- seriously -- Axl Rose's voice teacher like five hours a day," "Rock of Ages" director Adamn Shankman told TheWrap last week. "The prognosis is more than excellent."

Cruise, Bon Jovi and their wives, Katie Holmes and Dorothea Bon Jovi, enjoyed a meal at the NYC eatery Il Contonori.
You can find the article here.

So, what advice do you think Jon would give Tom, if he were so inclined?

There are a couple of photos of Jon and Dorothea leaving the restaurant after dinner.

I saw pics of Tom & Katie yesterday that said they'd been at that restaurant, and I thought it was weird that Jon & Dorothea had been there at the same time! Now I see why. I wonder if they're going to trade singing lessons for couch jumping pointers? ;)

I love Dorothea's boots! I think she's looking pretty fabulous for her age (she's what, 48? 47?) and especially given that she's a mom of 4 kids. Gorgeous couple!
