Wanted Wednesday: Giants Stadium, June 11, 1989
Please rise, for the singing of our national anthem...
This one was prompted by the video. I saw it pop in my email alerts. I have the audio boot from this show, but had JUST downloaded it, so hadn't had a chance to listen. After this Wanted? You'd better believe I had to hear the whole show.
But this cut of Wanted?
The nearly 6-minute intro? GAH!
The triple-neck guitar? Double-GAH!
The rest of the song is good -- nothing spectactular, but a solid, wonderful performance. It's the intro that hooked me.
Let's ride!
You can download the song here.
Thanks to MySovereign for this video post! The start is a bit dark, but the sound is perfection. Absolute perfection.
And if you just want the intro, RebelliousHutterite2 has you hooked up.
You can download the intro here.

Yeah the vid is great, unfortunately the link isn't working anymore, because they've deleted my YT acount. Umpf. I've posted a part of a GermanTV show. It just sucks the way YT has been developed since they've been bought by google.
I'm still mad because the acount was up almost five years and it was the third warning over all those years. And because of what? A song during a TV show already up on YT? I know their copyright restrictions, I just don't get it. It's not that I've put up the whole damn show. It just spoils the fun and the origin idea of this website, to share vids to countries they can't see this, because they don't get it where they live.
At the moment I give a rats ass about YT. Still looking for another opportunity to post vids. Until then, no more vids.
Sorry about the rambling...
Maybe I should listen to song to calm down again.
I love this concert. Already watched it a couple times. You can see they are having fun and probably think they'll never play Giants again, so we need to really rock the place. A once in a lifetime opportunity. lol Well, they should have known. LOL
This brings back great memories of a long day in the sun with my parents. My dad loved Bon Jovi so much the first time he took me to a show that he dragged my mom to the next concert. We were in the 2nd to last row of the 3rd tier at Giants Stadium but that didn't matter to me. It was an unbelievable experience! Thanks for posting this song!!! ~Lyn
