Fan Fiction Directory Gets Notice!
Yes, ladies, those of you who have decided to list with me -- you're out there in the mainstream now.
This article, from PopWatch Confessional (on Entertainment Weekly) has mentioned, and LINKED, the Bon Jovi Fan Fiction Directory. Damn, now I have to overhaul the site, yes?

I'm beyond tickled about this. Scared as hell too, but damn, what a rush! I left a comment on Mandi's article:

As a “relatively normal woman” with a husband, kid, job, mortgage, and no chance in hell of actually experiencing any of the things I and my other FanFictionista friends write about, I can honestly say, that these obsessions, as dysfunctional as they may be are actually quite healthy.
You get to lose yourself for a few hours, feel pretty darned good at the end of the session, and look what you HAVEN’T done:
You haven’t smoked a pack of ciggies (well, maybe if you read some of the steamier stories, you did afterwards…)
You haven’t poured yourself a glass or six of wine (well, maybe you did, to get yourself in the mood before reading…)
You haven’t eaten a whole pint of mint-chocolate-chip ice cream (well, if you got the munchies after — um — reading some of the stories, you did…)
Hell, I guess Fan Fiction may not be entirely healthy after all.
It’s fun as hell, though
So, if you were hoping to keep yourself on the D-L, sorry. BUSTED!

That could actually be a very cool thing for at least one specific author if her stuff gets noticed by a publishing house. She might get that first MS published yet.

I think it's very cool that the site has been noticed. It would be great if one of the Fan Fiction writers gets noticed by a publisher. A few of the writers are amazingly talented & should delve into writing on a professional level. Perhaps a little nudge from a publisher could be exactly what someone needs to open a whole new set of doors for themselves.

Uh..hmmm...Thats great news Hath, maybe some of the really talented writers will get noticed and get the break they deserve. As for me I'm off to double and triple check that nothing can come back to my real persona!
Hath...your site has been my obsession since the tour started....I already had an over the top Bon Jovi obsession, visiting Youtube 80 times a day and now I visit your site just as much...just what I needed..an extension of my obsession!!! But, yours is the best site out there and I can't stop visiting you and all your links..fan fiction and non fan fiction...I am glad you and the others got noticed!!!
