MEMPHIS Tops Outer Critics Circle Winners

Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers and commentators for all media covering New York theatre announced today its award winners for the 2009-10 season in 23 categories.

As previously announced, the cast of the hit comedy "God of Carnage" --- Dylan Baker, Jeff Daniels, Lucy Liu and Janet McTeer will serve as presenters at the organization's 60th Annual Award ceremony on Thursday, May 27th (4PM) at Sardi's Restaurant (234 West 44th Street).

Celebrating its 60th season of bestowing awards of excellence in the field of theatre, the Outer Critics Circle, is an association with members affiliated with more than ninety newspapers, magazines, web sites, radio and television stations, and theatre publications in America and abroad.

MEMPHIS has won the following awards:

OUTSTANDING NEW BROADWAY MUSICAL
OUTSTANDING NEW SCORE
OUTSTANDING CHOREOGRAPHER (Sergio Trullo)
OUTSTANDING ACTRESS IN A MUSICAL (Montego Glover)
