Still looking to spend that $1000 Soul Dinner Refund?
On my Google Alerts this morning:
So, there's another charity-type thing you can spend your $1000 refund from the Soul Dinner on. Hannah and Friends is a nonprofit organization founded by Notre Dame Head Coach Charlie Weis and his wife Maura.
On March 12, Bon Jovi will play and take photos with guests at the huge dinner event, with Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg as Emcees and Notre Dame football players and NFL celebrities will be in attendance.
Now, the article made it sound like it was the whole band, but if you read the flyer, it is very explicit that it's Jon Bon only who is performing.

I didn't have a grand to spend, but what a shame that they cancelled the Soul Foundation dinner where the money could go to JON'S charity and instead he's doing it for Notre Dame. Even if I had the money I would NOT give it to anything associated with ND. Sorry, it's my University of Michigan loyalties coming out.
OMG when I saw Hannah & Friends I was like WTF is he doing? Of course my first thought was Hannah Montana - WHEW I feel so much better now :)
