Make Believe on Broadway

Hosts Brooke Shields and Brad Oscar welcomed celebrities, Broadway greats, philanthropy influencers and the New York elite to celebrate the 12th Annual Make Believe on Broadway, on November 14 at the Shubert Theatre. The evening showcased Broadway and Hollywood's brightest stars as they united in a benefit performance on behalf of Only Make Believe, a non-profit that brings the magic of theater to children in hospitals and care facilities.
Honorees include Christopher Meloni (OMB Child Advocacy Award), Dr. Karyn Purvis (James Hammerstein Award), Gary Lynch and Kate Hall (OMB Founders' Award)
Special guests for the evening included Daniel Radcliffe, Mike Myers,Alan Rickman, David Bryan (Bon Jovi), Montego Glover (Memphis), Andrew Rannells (The Book of Mormon), Josh Gad (The Book of Mormon), Dena Hammerstein, Zoƫ Wanamaker, CBE, Seth Rudetsky, Bello Nock of the Bello Nock Circus, The Broadway Inspirational Voices, Forbidden Broadway and many more
Only Make Believe is a charitable organization that creates and performs interactive theatre for children in hospitals and care facilities. The program, provided free-of-charge to the hospitals, using professional actors, has performed for more than 21,000 children since it started 12 years ago. This year alone they will do more than 350 performances in 50 hospitals in the New York metropolitan area.
