Graceland Chapel

Hey, so apparently, JonBon took a Sentimental Journey to visit Graceland Wedding Chapel when he was in Vegas with a couple of his kids.  Anyone else make the pilgrimage?

I'm not a Jonny girl, so I don't know -- is that something you want to see?  I mean, I get seeing the Manse or the SoHo apartment lobby or the Stone Pony... But seeing where the object of your -- erm -- affections tied the knot apparently for the long haul -- is that something you want to see?

Anyway, according to this blurb, that's how he spent part of his Friday evening when they were out in Vegas.

Ironically it was one year ago today that my hubby & I left for our vacation. We went to San Diego, LA, then Vegas.
Yes I wanted to see the Graceland Chapel. We stopped one night on our way down to The Freemont Street Experience. It was neat to be there. I managed to get some pictures of the outside & the pictures on the wall inside. Lucky I got those because just as I was gonna take a picture of the actual alter, the lady stopped me & said no photographs allowed!!
I follow you on twitter so you can follow me it's (sissy452). If you would like me to email you the photos just DM me.
Thanks & Great Blog! Keep up the good work!

I was in Vegas back in 2000 on a tour and we had a surprise from our tour leader, he took us too the Graceland Chapel and two members of our tour got a mock service performed by Fat Elvis (they also had thin Elvis available). At the end of the service they gave the "happy" couple some free stuff including a copy of Jon's Marriage Certificate, which was given to me after wards since everyone knew by the end of the trip I was a big fan.

I have pictures of the sign outside, the inside of the chapel, it has plastic flowers on the wall.
