Meet The Newest Jovis...
That's right, it's a robot. A "ABB IRB 7600" robot, to be exact. Five of them will dance with Bon Jovi for at least 60 concerts, on The Circle Tour.
Each robot has a 6 ft x 9 ft LED video panel attached to their articulated arm. The robots and screens are integral to the concert production, moving to the rhythm and beat of the music while displaying real time video footage of the show and digital animations, according to ABB. At various intervals the five robot arms move into a formation where the LED panels become a continuous, five-panel screen.
The robots will accompany the nearly two-year long tour, which currently features approximately 60 concerts in North America and Europe, with additional dates likely to be scheduled.

Thanks for the picture Hathor!! I saw these robots upclose & personal in Seattle. I did one of the backstage tours. They are freakin amazing & what they give the audience through out the show is awesome.
It's a big rock show with lots of lights, screens & all sorts of fantastic things!! Guaranteed to have you up rockin all night.
Could tell ya more but don't want to ruin the surprise. I'll just say you're all in for a Jovi show like you haven't seen in years, if not decades. I'm still on a high from it!!!

Oh these look very cool - wonder how they will affect those who have seats behind the stage, any ideas?
