Celebrate with Soraia

IT'S TIME!

Philly-area Peeps... Soraia is celebrating the upcoming release of their new record, In the Valley of Love and Guns with a blow-out bash at The Legendary Dobbs on South Street this Saturday night!  If you don't already know (and if you've been reading this blog for awhile you DO), Soraia is produced by none other than the wise and wonderful Obie O'Brien.  The band has also opened for Bon Jovi on several occasions, the most recent and notable being Jon's Circle Tour "Birthday Show" in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia Daily News
Jon and singer Soraia Mansour teamed up to write six songs for In the Valley of Love and Guns, all of which will be performed at the Release Party show.  JBJ has also been a big supporter of the band, making appearances at several of their shows and label showcase performances.

And since he's not scheduled to be on his own stage Saturday night.... Who knows where JBJ might pop up?

You can hear samples of some of the songs HERE.

Come on out to the show and you can be one of the VERY first to get your hands on  the new record   -- a limited number of CDs will be available for purchase.  A very small number of limited-edition posters will also be for sale.  And a little birdie tells me all you have to do to get them autographed is smile pretty and ask...

Tickets are $10 at the door; doors open at 8:30 p.m.  More info available at soraia.com

What better way to celebrate President's Day weekend than with some good-ol' American rock-n-roll in the City of Brotherly Love?
