Memphis Lives in Me

From Broadway.com

Just before his first performance as Huey Calhoun in Memphis, Adam Pascal joined the show's Tony-winning composer David Bryan for a very personal performance of "Memphis Lives in Me." As Bryan recently told Broadway.com, he and Pascal share a rock sensibility, and the two are obviously feeling simpatico about Pascal's Broadway return in Bryan's long-running hit.

A lovely performance, but for me, Chad will always be Huey.

Thanks, Catte, for the link!

  1. Sorry, But David sings it way better. I like Adam because of the Musical "Rent" in it's movie version, but David sings it much, much better! Sorry Adam, you just don't do the song justice!

  3. Agreed, David sings it much better. Hej actually sings it better than Chad too... but I still agree, Hath, that Chad will forever be Huey in my heart. That doesn't mean I don't want to see a performance with Adam, just to see how he made the role his own.
