Celebrating The Fall of The Wall

BON JOVI will join U2 for the 20th anniversary celebration of the fall of the Berlin Wall in Germany.

The Irish rockers will perform a free gig in front of Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate on 5 November (09), just four days before the 20th anniversary of the demolition of the wall.

And now Bon Jovi have been named as the only entertainers at the 9 November (09) ceremony, where they’ll reportedly perform new tune We Weren’t Born to Follow – a tune inspired by the wall’s destruction.

Frontman Jon Bon Jovi tells Billboard.com the celebration will be very special for him: “I was there chipping away a piece of the wall 20 years ago when it came down.”
