I honestly don't know, Renee, because Obie ducks my emails, but some speculation is that are hearts with each of his children's names on them, and the "main" charm (the big bulky one) is for him and Dorothea.
Not sure though.
I'll ask Obie again. Maybe he's feeling generous today :)

I love the necklace, and I also think its to do with his kids and Dot, the heart is like the barbed heart, makes sense if it's a RSB one. He was wearing it just after his last wedding anniversary so it was ,ight of been a gift from Tico, or Dot. He's wearing it alot either way so that's awesome -- must hold alot of sentimental value.

Oh, and about Richie - Obie said he's at home (which is like friggin 15 minutes away from me...WHY have I not seen him yet?!) currently, so nose around the LA paparazzi. :) Then again, perhaps he is in hiding...
I've been coveting that necklace since I saw him wear it at TriBeCa... I have this little Thomas Sabo sterling jewelry problem... Great to see a close-up pic of it. Hell, great to see a close up pic of ANYTHING on that chest!
