Jon Bon Jovi Visits First Responders in Sea Bright

(November 7, 2012)

From 94.3 The Point

Jersey’s own Jon Bon Jovi toured Sandy-ravaged Sea Bright over the weekend and took time to meet with some local first responders.
Josh Shamosh, a former Point Crewmember and current Oakhurst Fire Department member, says many crews have been helping surrounding towns to cover emergency calls.

While stationed in Sea Bright, he happened to notice Bon Jovi standing on the sidewalk. He said JBJ was ‘very approachable, friendly, and thankful to all the firefighters, volunteers, and National Guard there.’

He said Jon was soon swarmed with people wanting a picture but that he didn’t turn anyone away.

Very cool…and to ALL the first responders, utility workers, and folks who have been keeping us all safe…THANK YOU.
