Movie Night!

Don't forget
Tune in to BonJovi.com TONIGHT at 9PM EDT to catch the next Bon Jovi Wenesday Movie Night - tonight we'll be streaming the This Left Feels Right DVD (2004) live back-to-back! Simply visit the Bon Jovi Homepage right at 9 to watch, and chat with other Bon Jovi fans all over the world while they're watching, too!
We'll also be offering discounts, available now, on the Keep The Faith and These Days tour t-shirts, so don't miss your chance to get yours!
So yes, it's playing twice (I don't think they said that last time).  Though TLFR wasn't everyone's favorite DVD.  It would have been a NICE treat to see the uber-yummy Rio show... You know they have all that stuff in the closet somewhere.

BUT, it's still a great thing the band is doing, and I for one loved this DVD.

Enjoy!!

"BJ Slut" Campaign in Japan

Yeah, it got my attention too, when this popped in my Google Alerts this morning.  However, knowing there had to be some sort of reasonable explanation, I clicked on the link.

  • BJ: In Japanese BJ means Bon Jovi -- nothing more
  • Slut: In Japanese pronunciation and katakana writing “slut” and “slot” are the same—slot slut Japanese Google Translate.
  • Pachislot (pachisuro): Is a Japanese mega-mix mangling of pachinko pinball and slot machines.
See? Just a little language misunderstanding.

I know, the pinball machine debut is old news (March 2009).  Still, I think this is funny as hell, though.  PS, where can I get one of these T-shirts?

$800K for the Apollo

Well, I couldn't get my in-laws to crash the $1500 per plate fund raiser at Ron Perelman's place over the weekend, but, but they did call me to tell me that "that singer Baaaahn Jovi" was in town for a little party (love the Hampton's perspective -- only $1500 cover charge is still considered a "little party").

On Saturday night, Perelman let 250 people into The Creeks, his spectacular East Hampton estate, to raise money for the Apollo Foundation. For $1500 a ticket, guests got to hear a live show in Perelman’s barn state of the art theater featuring “Soul Man” Sam Moore, Jon Bon Jovi, John Legend, Mary J. Blige, the Roots as house band with special guest Paul Shaffer, and R&B star Chuck Jackson.

You can read the whole article here.

One YouTube has surfaced, and the video and audio are available at my Mediafire.

And here are some pictures (thanks T and C)!!
