Call for Help...

... from my Aussie and British devotees.

Shannon Noll....

His new album...

How is it? I know that Richie worked with him, and had nothing but good things to say about him (at least in the interviews I've read). I'll admit that I only know who he is (he was the second place winner on Australian Idol in 2003) because of the work that Richie did on his record, but that doesn't mean his stuff wouldn't be worth listening to. Can anyone give me a recommendation one way or the other?

Jon Bon Goes To Washington

(BAJG, I couldn't resist lol)

Jon had lunch and apparently shared ideas with David Axelrod, a senior adviser to President Barack Obama. Bon Jovi and Axelrod discussed the president's efforts to encourage community service, an area of interest that the musician shares and promotes as well, the White House said.

New Story; One of MY stories

I have a new story up, A Night To Remember.; It's a Jonny story that was written for a friend of mine for her birthday. She read it and blessed it, and I piloted it with a few friends before deciding to post it.

If you're into that kind of thing, hope you enjoy it!

It's Time To Vote!

Kerrang! TV has a poll on the top 100 videos of all time.

Both Bed of Roses and Blaze of Glory have been nominated. I know how much the Jovi fans love a good poll....

You have to vote for three videos, and can only vote once per IP address.

Go Vote Here

*sigh* I could watch BOR forever. TARA! Richie's wearing the rosary in this vid lol

And BOG? The vest with no shirt is DEFINITELY a good look for Jon...

In case you need a reminder about these videos :)

Video of Bon Jovi for Corzine

Blue Jersey reports that the Corzine campaign put out some video from the Bon Jovi fundraiser at NJPAC the other night. It's a mix with some of the acoustic and Bon Jovi's own words on why New Jersey needs the Governor:

"Bon Jovi" Cracks Forbes' Top 25

Angelina Jolie has dethroned Oprah Winfrey to become Forbes Magazine’s most powerful celebrity in 2009.

Last year’s number one Oprah Winfrey came in second while diva pop stars Madonna and Beyonce Knowles rounded out the top four. Tiger Woods was the highest ranking male and sports star at number five.

The top 25 are listed below:

1 Angelina Jolie
2 Oprah Winfrey
3 Madonna
4 Beyonce Knowles
5 Tiger Woods
6 Bruce Springsteen
7 Steven Spielberg
8 Jennifer Aniston
9 Brad Pitt
10 Kobe Bryant
11 Will Smith
12 Dr. Phil McGraw
13 Britney Spears
14 David Letterman
15 Coldplay
16 Adam Sandler
17 Harrison Ford
18 Michael Jordan
19 LeBron James
20 Tom Cruise
21 Bon Jovi
22 Donald Trump
23 Rush Limbaugh
24 George Lucas
25 Simon Cowell

I wonder, do they mean "Bon Jovi" the band? Or Jon Bon Jovi, the man? I have to believe the mean the man, but c'mon people! A reputable publication like Forbes should be a bit more careful with their editing.

Cuomo Fundraiser

Former VP Al Gore introduced AG Andrew Cuomo at a packed fund-raiser held last Tuesday night at the Roosevelt Hotel in Midtown. Close to $1.3 million was raised.

About 700 loyal Democrats -- among them many deep-pocketed business leaders -- paid between $500 and $10,000 for a chance to mingle with Gore and rockers like Jon Bon Jovi and Matchbox 20 frontman Rob Thomas.
