Yes, he did have a furrowed brow the whole time.
When the webcast was over, they grayed out the screen, but didn't turn off the audio. You could hear Jon, plain as day, saying he was nervous as hell and hoped he didn't embarrass himself too badly.
No, Brother Bongiovi, you did just fine.

I hope they re-air the webcast, bummed I missed this. I also love the fact that he was nervous but wouldn't doubt that he'd do well. Hath if you hear of it being shown again I'd love a heads up.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Chris
Our Jonny didn't smile much during the taping. He was quite serious and thoughtful, looked like he was concentrating really hard. Funny about the comment... I haven't seen the 'cast yet (for obvious reasons), but when I walked out to the lobby 10 minutes after it ended and found him and Dot with the assistant, I heard him say "I thought it went pretty well... I didn't look like too much of an idiot, did I?" or words to that effect. I had to fight back a little chuckle at that... a little doubt in that healthy ego. Yep, he really is human, Superman or not...
ReplyDeleteI watched the whole thing in my office today. Love having an office all to myself 3 days a week. They only asked him 2 questions and there was this on guy who really tried to make him look like an idiot and was dissing him and that was really uncalled for. You could really tell he was uncomfortable with this whole thing. I heard him asking the others if he did ok and said he was hoping he didn't made a fool of himself. Of course the women on the panel were very reassuring!!! It was a very interesting discussion though.
