March...

...I wanna march you down the aisle...

Yeah, so no, you got me there; I don't really wanna do that.

BUT, in keeping with the stupid theme I started, and being that like the rock god in the photo, I am type-A, I'm sticking with it. If you know the song, the tags will start to get really goofy come June, but I'll worry about that later.

So, this shot.

Where do I start?

With the way he's biting his bottom lip?

Or the flex of his arm muscle as he reaches out to point to someone or touch her hand?

The way the spotlight behind him seems to be God Himself giving approval of the man?

Or the slice of chest that shows a lot, but far too little?

Hmmm, where the hell was I going with this.....

Happy Birthday!

It's Shelly's and TrishSambora's birthday today.

Happy birthday, girls!

If I recall correctly, Shelly is all about PuppyJon

And Trish? Well, if you can't tell from her name.... lol

Anyway, Happy Birthday, girls!

Love,
Hath

What NOT to get me for Christmas...

Take a look at this video.

One of our SVPs here had a dozen people in his office laughing hysterically at this. It has absolutely nothing to do with Bon Jovi, music or anything else....it's just a hell of a funny promo.

Although, this COULD be what "Misunderstood" was written about lmao...

There, I turned it into something Joviesque...

I'm still chuckling at ol' DualBag.

You'll see....

The Bon Jovi Kid

I saw this in my Google Alerts, and had to share it. I loved it.

The Bon Jovi Kid

In the final minutes of last night's Rutgers blowout over Louisville this kid took to the Jumbotron at the stadium and blew the crowd away with his Guitar Hero-esque performance of Bon Jovi's "You Give Love a Bad Name".

The crowd went absolutely nuts during his performance and he probably got the biggest cheer of the night. All we know that his name is Nicholas and that his father posted the video on YouTube.

Highlights of his performance were clearly his finger gun during the words "You're a loaded gun" (:32 and 1:34), chest pound (:45), and then the mind-blowing guitar solo (2:04). Everyone in the press box was completely riveted when he was on the big screen last night.

I don't know if he's practiced those moves or he winged it on the fly (which would make his performance that much more awesome), but he was great.

One reporter commented: Look, I'll be the first one to admit that this isn't even close to news, but as long as we're talking about A-Rod's undies, I'm obliged to share this with those not present at Thursday night's Louisville-Rutgers game.

Way to go, Nicholas!

I Love Jay Leno

Heather was on Jay Leno the other night. May have been last night. The last few days have all been a horrible blur....

In any event, they talked about how her 2008 basically sucked, and she's really looking forward to 2009. Can't say as how I blame her, really.

Then she told Leno about her Thanksgiving dinner with Richie, their daughter and her current boyfriend Jack Wagner. (who, btw I thought was a fiance now, but I guess I had that wrong, but how great is it to see them together again? Loved them on MP...)

Locklear said that both guys were "well behaved" whatever that means.

Leno made me laugh: he was disappointed there were no fights. Leave it to Jay...

Could you imagine that though? Of course the image in my head is a fist fight, (and if I'm completely honest, it most likely involves a kiddie pool full of chocolate pudding) but the barbs that would fly..... I'm glad for Ava's sake that they were all civil.

And STILL no word on Jen -- whether she was with Richie on T-day. I know, I know, it's none of my damned business. Fine. Then if you know, and you don't wanna tell me, don't. There, you've done your part. Now click the little 'x' and go away :P

Anybody out there know if they're still together? I'm sure it would have been news if they weren't (I mean they can barely change their socks without it making a Google alert...) but I haven't seen her name for a while. Could just be they're finally managing to avoid the press, but I'm a curious Goddess.... I must've been a cat in one of my former lives. I still purr......

Happy Birthday, Ozzy!

No, you're not in the wrong place. Don't be afraid. He won't REALLY get you. But I couldn't let today pass without saying happy birthday to rock and roll's prince of darkness. Shocked that this girl loves her Ozzy? You shouldn't be. I am a DarkSider after all --- you don't get much darker than The Great And Powerful Oz.

Ozzy turned 60 today.

The father of heavy metal and former Black Sabbath frontman never anticipated such longevity, figuring he'd succumb to his rock and roll excesses long before he was eligible for social security: "Let me tell you, when I was 20 I was going, I'd go, 'I'm gonna die by 40.' And that was all right until I was 39 and a half."

Although he's threatened to retire before and is now entering his seventh decade, Osbourne told us not long ago that he has no intention of calling it quits these days: "I don't wanna stop, you know. It's been the biggest love affair of my life. When you reach a certain age in rock 'n' roll, people think, 'Well, this has got to be his last tour,' or 'This has got to be his last tour,' or 'You've got to come next Tuesday 'cause he ain't gonna do it after that.' You'll know when I've come off the road permanently. I mean, you'll know!"

John Michael Osbourne was born in the Aston district of the gritty industrial town of Birmingham, England, one of Jack and Lillian Osbourne's six kids.

John dropped out of school at the age of 15, working as a laborer, plumber, toolmaker and slaughterhouse worker. He also spent a few weeks in prison after being arrested for burglary.

He later formed a band with classmate and guitarist Tony Iommi. The pair decided to play a darker, blues-influenced style of music instead of the psychedelic rock that was all the rage at the time. That group, originally called Earth, became Black Sabbath. Completed by drummer Bill Ward and bassist Geezer Butler, Sabbath became hugely successful with albums like Paranoid, Master of Reality and Sabbath, Bloody Sabbath.

The group arguably created the template for heavy metal and inspired generations of bands over the past 38 years. Sabbath was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.

Ozzy left Sabbath in 1979 and embarked on an even more successful solo career with albums like Blizzard of Ozz, Diary of a Madman and last year's Black Rain. He reunited with Sabbath in 1997 and the band has toured sporadically since then.

Happy birthday, Ozzy!

Nominees announced for 20th annual Pollstar Awards

Pollstar, a leading touring music trade publication, is returning to Club Nokia at the LA Live complex in Los Angeles, CA, for its 2008 industry award ceremony on January 30, 2009. The annual Pollstar Awards, now entering their 20th year, include 32 categories that honor touring acts, promoters, agents, managers, venues and production companies, who are voted on by their peers.

Nominees are selected from the votes of 100 industry members who cannot submit or vote for their own clients, and the winners are voted for by Pollstar subscribers. This year, all voting will be done online. The Billboard Awards, on the other hand, are mostly decided objectively by the yearly box office results.

AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Coldplay, Kenny Chesney and Madonna were deemed the best tours of 2008. Additionally, various industry constituents and companies associated with those tours also received nominations.

Interestingly, New York's Beacon Theatre, a multiple-year Pollstar Award-winner and nominee for 2008 Theatre of the Year, was only open for six months this year, January 17 through July 19, before closing for renovations.

The 2008 nominees for select categories are listed here.

Hell yeah they were :) But guys, you already knew that, didn't you?
